PRESIDENT

Pete Kasacek is currently serving as President of the CTRWWA Board of Directors. He is currently employed at Coventry Housing Authority as a maintenance supervisor and water system operator D1 for 15 years. He has also been active in the association during the past 15 years. Pete enjoys trapshooting and saltwater fishing. He is looking forward to having this association grow.

SECRETARY

Ted Donoghue is the Superintendent of the Litchfield Connecticut Wastewater Treatment Faculty—a Class IV licensed wastewater operator, and the Secretary for the Board of Directors for CTRWWA.

Ted is passionate about wastewater and understands the need to have CTRWWA work for its members. He is working to create the foundation for mentoring, networking and advocacy for the industry in Connecticut, particularly for small rural systems, like Litchfield, which have unique needs and challenges. Ted is also passionate about music and enjoy listening to vinyl, as well as attending concerts, cooking, skiing, boogie boarding, being outdoors all years round, and taking care of his German Shepard, Mason.

BOARD MEMBER

Robert Wittenzellner is a Water and Wastewater Manager for WhiteWater Inc, an operations division of the RH White construction company. WhiteWater has provided systems operations for over 40 years, and RH White company is about to celebrate its 100-year anniversary. Robert has been on the CTRWWA board of directors since December 2021.

His professional career includes over 40 years of Water Systems Maintenance, Utility Operation along with Wastewater Package Plant operations and Maintenance. Currently, he is responsible for operations and maintenance of contracted wastewater and water treatment systems located in, Central and Western MA, and all of CT, RI . Robert is a Certified 2-T ,2-D Operator in MA, a T-3 and D-3 Treatment and Distribution in CT and RI. Also, a CT Backflow Tester, and Inspector in CT.
